It is the same as all the Peruvian markets: colored, noisy and agitated. But this market has its particularity: the “brujos” (witches) section. There is all an apprentice-shaman needs; medicinal plants, diver’s bones, powders, ritual objects… used in the region of the Peruvian coast in the persisting pre-Hispanic tradition.
